Licensed archaeological monitoring commenced in 2018 associated with works undertaken by the Water Services Section of Kerry County Council in the townland of Letter West at Mountain Stage, Co. Kerry and continued in early 2019. It consisted mainly of monitoring the works within the limits of reservoir site. Nothing of archaeological interest was found during monitoring.
