Testing was carried out following a geophysical survey by Target Archaeological Geophysics (licence 19R088) which identified a settlement cluster in the south-east corner of the proposed development site. The settlement cluster is to be preserved in situ and 12 trenches were excavated across the remainder of the site. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
