Monitoring works were undertaken of a strip foundation for a new enclosed porch, which occupies the site of a veranda at the front of a modern dwelling house in Graystown townland, Killenaule. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential for a large ringfort and inscribed stone. Excavations were very limited, entailing a strip foundation just under 8m in length and less than 1.3m in width. No archaeological features or deposits were identified in this strip foundation trench.
