Research excavation and geophysical survey took place of a four stone row and enclosure at Íochtar Cua, near Waterville, Co. Kerry. Investigations revealed an infilled ditch around the site and that the enclosure is more properly a platform created to level the crest of the ridge on which the monument is located. Lithics and flint débitage were recovered from the platform while charcoal samples from the platform and ditch feature are currently being analysed. A full report will be published on completion of all relevant analyses.
