An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on 21 June 2013 at the site of a proposed development. The evaluation was requested by NIEA: HMU due to the proximity of five recorded raths. A total of 6 test trenches were excavated across the extent of the proposed development. The site was characterised by topsoil up to 0.45m deep overlying subsoil. Nothing of archaeological interest was found.
