Monitoring of groundworks for a new building on the north-eastern part of the Botanic Buildings was undertaken from October to end November 2012. The site is in proximity to burial sites, however these are separated from the Botanic Gardens by the Tolka river. No finds or features of any archaeological significance were uncovered in the works.
