Monitoring of groundworks was undertaken in advance of the construction of the Leixlip Waste Water Treatment Works, Cooldrinagh Td, Co. Dublin. These works were undertaken between January–August 2012. All associated groundworks for the scheme were monitored. Additionally, metal detection of excavated spoil was undertaken (detection license R297). While some 19th-century coins were found through metal detection, no archaeological finds or features were recorded.
