The site is located on the north side of O’Brien Street where monitoring was undertaken during the demolition of a modern workshop building at the Moorehaven Centre, the removal of the ground slab and the reinstatement of the ground to surrounding ground levels. The area occupied by the Moorehaven Centre appears to have been located to the east of and outside the medieval walled town as noted in the Urban Survey (Farrelly and Carey 1994). Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during monitoring.
