Pre-development testing was carried out on 15 April 2008 of a site at Moore South, Ballydangan, Athlone, Co. Roscommon. The site is slightly within the area of archaeological constraint for RO054–024. No evidence for archaeological material or cultural layers pre-dating the 19th century was observed in any area of the proposed development site.
