An assessment in the form of test-trenching of a proposed development at Tullakeel, Churchtown, Ardee, Co. Louth, took place on 18 June 2008. The proposed development is located within the zone of archaeological potential associated with LH013–019, a barrow. Ten trenches were excavated, having been located in accordance with the results of a geophysical survey carried out on the site. No archaeological features were identified during the excavation of these trenches.
