The excavation of a small cemetery of probable Early Bronze Age date was undertaken in advance of development involving the construction of a road into a new light industrial/technological estate. Excavated features included a small cist, containing burnt human bone and a bowl (‘food vessel’), as well as three small cremation pits, an inhumation burial and a small pit filled with a deposit of charcoal-rich material.
