An early post-medieval timber window was recently identified in a yard behind Henrietta Street, Waterford, and was removed for conservation treatment in August 2007. Debris behind the wall was first removed, to take pressure off the frame and ease the removal. Subsequent limited disturbance to the surrounding wall fabric was monitored.

The window embrasure was identified on the far side of the wall, and the wall plate over the window (left in situ) was reinterpreted as a jetty plate for a 17th-century stone (ground floor) and cage work (first floor1) house.
