Test-pits were excavated in June 2006 on the site of a mapped building beside Lisbeg Road, and located the poorly preserved remains of an 18th/19th-century cottage. Trial-trenches were excavated along the line of the upgraded A4, between 26324 35669 and 26331 35669, in April 2007. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
