A series of test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed development of a single dwelling at Ballybeg, Grange, in compliance with the planning conditions, as the site lies at the edge of the constraint zone of TN088–012, an enclosure. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
