Test-trenching was carried out as part of further information for an extension to an existing structure at Harbour Road, Banagher, Co. Offaly, at the edge of the zone of potential for a 16th-century town. A series of trenches were subsequently excavated by mechanical digger across the site. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
