Test-trenching was undertaken in the area of a proposed borrow pit in the townland of Drumree, Co. Meath, adjacent to the M3 Clonee to North of Kells motorway scheme. Twenty-one trenches were excavated over three fields at 20m intervals with a combined length of 2317.295m. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered.
