The Ireland West Airport Knock broadband scheme involved trenching for of 6.41km of ducting around the environs of the airport. The pipeline was confined to a narrow pipe trench and laid within upland peat, existing roadway and roadside verge and around the perimeter fence of the airport. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were found during monitoring.
