Excavation of Site 12 took place on 27–28 August 2007 in association with a planned housing scheme. The site was one of a number identified as a result of an extensive programme of testing carried out under licence 05E0963 (Excavations 2005, No. 1078).
An isolated shallow circular pit containing burnt bone was excavated at the site and no additional features were identified in the immediate vicinity.
