Pre-development testing was carried out on the site of a proposed housing development at Cloghalahard, Co. Galway, on 21 June 2007. The testing condition was imposed on the site as it is located within 50m of an unclassified earthwork and souterrain (GA095–015) and within 200m of a rectangular enclosure (GA095–054). The test excavation clarified that the development will not have a direct impact on any remains of archaeological significance.
