Pre-development testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed dwelling house in Ballinlawless, Co. Galway. The development site is located in the vicinity of a children’s burial-ground (GA115–001). Two trenches excavated revealed no features of archaeological significance. The stratigraphy consisted of sod and topsoil overlying subsoil that overlay natural layers.
