An archaeological evaluation was carried out at a site at Aghindaiagh, Derrylin, in advance development. The site lies close to an Early Christian rath (FER259–012). Four trenches were mechanically excavated to the surface of the natural subsoil. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
