It is proposed to construct a new link road providing access from the Newry bypass to a new building and carpark at Newry railway station, Newry, Co. Down. All topsoil within the land-take area of the new link road was stripped with a back-action mechanical digger fitted with a toothless bucket. No archaeological deposits were found.
