Test-trenching was carried out as part of further information for a single-house development at Labbamologa Middle, Co. Cork, within the zone of potential for an Early Christian church and ecclesiastical complex. A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the house site, entrance and percolation area. A metal-detection survey was also undertaken on the site and this uncovered no artefacts. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
