An underwater assessment was carried out at the site of the two proposed outfall pipes and one pipeline crossing in and around the town of Kinsale in Co. Cork. The work was carried out as a component of the larger Kinsale main drainage scheme. Desktop analysis of the historical and archaeological background to the proposed crossing and outfall sites recorded that all three sites were in historically sensitive areas. The diver and magnetometer surveys did not record the presence of any visible archaeological material or features in development areas.
