Testing of a proposed development site was undertaken as part of an assessment. The development consists of the construction of a single-dwelling house and associated services on a greenfield site. The site is partially located within the constraint zone for a castle (CO024–151(02)) and a potential site (CO024–151(01)). Three test-trenches were excavated within the development site and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
