This licence refers to one phase of the ongoing housing development at Ballysillan Industrial Estate, Ligoneil Road, Belfast. During monitoring the extent of a millrace was uncovered measuring 3m east to west and running 33m north to south with a depth of c. 0.55m. There was no evidence of banks associated with the millrace. All finds recovered were of 19th- and 20th-century origin, including clay pipe, post-medieval pottery and modern china.
