Testing in Redmountain, Donore, Co. Meath, was carried out in advance of the construction of a dwelling house, driveway and percolation area. Five test-trenches were excavated within the proposed development site. The sod and topsoil measured an average of 0.35m in thickness and overlay the natural orange sandy clay or gravel. No archaeological features were exposed and no finds were recovered.
