This site was excavated between 22 and 30 June 2006. It was newly identified during centreline testing (A020/003) and was fully excavated in advance of the construction of the N5 Charlestown bypass. It was located at 67m OD.
This site consisted of an oval-shaped burnt spread measuring 4.6m by 3m and had a maximum thickness of 0.35m. It consisted of burnt stone and peat with frequent root activity and occasional charcoal. It rested on peat and had no ancillary features.
