Testing at this site in 2003 revealed the line of the medieval town ditch (Excavations 2003, No. 1000). Monitoring of groundworks in 2005 also revealed the presence of burgage boundaries oriented north–south (Excavations 2005, No. 805). Limited additional monitoring in 2006 revealed no further features of archaeological potential.
