Monitoring of Phase 3 of a housing development was carried out in April 2006, under an extension of the licence number used for the monitoring for Phases 1 and 2 of the development. The development area is located in the vicinity of the zone of archaeological potential for a ringfort. Six possible archaeological features were uncovered during the monitoring and were excavated under licence 04E0203 ext. (an extension to the excavation licence used in Phase 1; see No. 899, Excavations 2006).
