The excavation at Site 3, Kilcloghan, was carried out in advance of the N6 Kilbeggan–Kinnegad road scheme. The site consisted of a shallow linear ditch that may have been a large furrow or shallow boundary ditch. No other archaeological artefacts or features were identified within the site.
