Testing was undertaken in advance of the construction of a retail unit, residential unit and canopy over petrol pumps at Parkmore, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick. The development site was located within the zone of potential for the historic town of Shanagolden. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the trenching.
