Three test-trenches were mechanically excavated in advance of the construction of three houses. The site was located to the south of the large enclosure on Kill Hill but did not directly impact on it. The evidence from the trenches suggests that the site was covered by glacial till sealed by ploughsoil. No archaeological features were recorded.
