Test-trenching was undertaken in Glanleam, Valentia Island, in compliance with a request for further information from the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and Kerry County Council. The area of proposed development is located within the zone of archaeological potential for a children’s burial ground or cillín.

Five test-trenches were excavated across the site. No archaeological features or artefacts were identified.
