Planning permission was granted for a development of 24 houses at Ballyoughtragh North, Milltown, Co. Kerry, with a condition which required testing. The site is located to the south-east of Milltown outside the zone of archaeological potential for a ringfort 200m to the south-east of the site. Two test-trenches were opened along the footprint of two rows of houses. No finds or features of archaeological interest were found during the course of the testing.
