Monitoring was undertaken at a proposed residential development site in the townland of Castlequin, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry. The site is to the immediate west of an ecclesiastical site consisting of the ruins of the Killobarnum oratory. In addition, an enclosure, penitential cairn and altar are recorded from the site, although these have disappeared over the years as a result of gravedigging. No features or finds of archaeological interest were uncovered.
