Monitoring was required for this 70-house development to the south of the town of Cloyne, on a greenfield site. The development was near the Early Christian round tower and medieval church (SMR 88:19). No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed. Phase two of the development has been completed and the development is to be completed in 2004.
