Monitoring was undertaken at the Clare Inn Hotel at Dromoland, Ennis, Co. Clare. Planning permission had been obtained to build a large extension to the rear of the hotel. No archaeological remains were uncovered during the course of monitoring topsoil-stripping for the development.
