Monitoring was carried out on the rural fringes and within the suburbs of Limerick on the Limerick Main Drainage Scheme. Two new sites were identified and excavated during monitoring (see Nos 1154, Corbally Co. Limerick, and 179, Kilquane, Co. Clare, Excavations 2002).
