Monitoring of groundworks associated with a single-house development was undertaken at Ardraw, Killorglin, Co. Kerry. A ringfort (SMR 57:75) is situated c. 100m west of the development site, in a commanding position on the top of a hill. The topsoil was c. 0.35–0.4m deep and composed of mid-brown silty clay. This came down onto natural subsoil composed of yellow clay. No archaeological material, artefacts or deposits were recovered.
