This sites lies to the rear of a late medieval building (No. 32) that forms part of a larger site originally excavated by John Ó Néill (No. 727, Excavations 2002). The testing involved digging a test-trench to establish the depth of rubble deposits in a proposed basement area (9m square). The assessment established the presence of a modern rubble deposit overlying boulder clay, which had been sealed by a modern concrete floor. This area was subsequently monitored, but nothing of archaeological significance was found.
