Four trenches were opened before a proposed small redevelopment of a shop and an office site. There was no evidence of significant archaeological deposits, and the stratigraphy was homogeneous throughout the trenches opened: a stony yellow clay that produced some 20th-century inclusions, with one possible stray, medieval, small, broken, bone spatula.
