Monitoring was carried out during the removal of the foundations of an old public toilet facility and during the excavation of foundation trenches in advance of the construction of a new toilet block. Removal of these foundations did not expose any archaeological stratigraphy. Further work on this site is due to commence in early 2002 with the monitoring of further ground disturbance for site services.
