All ground disturbance to date on the Westport Main Drainage and Waste Water Disposal Scheme has been monitored, and monitoring is still ongoing. Several areas of archaeological interest have been uncovered in Rossbeg, Deerpark East, Attireesh and Gortaroe townlands.
