Louth County Council requested that the development of farm buildings at Kiltallaght should be monitored. The development site was c. 200m from a possible church site, SMR 21:19. Some works had taken place on the site prior to the commencement of monitoring and Dúchas requested that a metal-detecting survey be carried out on the spoil-heaps produced by these works. No archaeological objects were found during this survey and no archaeological materials were found during the monitoring of the stripping of the remaining topsoil.
