The site was located within the zone of archaeological potential of a circular enclosure, identified from aerial photography. Seven test-trenches were excavated across the site in advance of development. No evidence of the circular enclosure was revealed during archaeological testing; however, three small deposits of charcoal were found, as well as several linear features which appeared to be drainage-related.
