Pre-development testing was undertaken on this site at Sroankeeragh, Drumline, Co. Roscommon, as it lay between two earthen enclosures, SMR 11:12, located 30m to the west of the proposed development in the adjoining townland of Tawlagh, and SMR 11:13, 30m to the south of the development.

Seven test-trenches were opened, but no archaeological remains were uncovered.
