The site is located to the rear of Nos 5–14 Kearn’s Place and occupies an area measuring 60m east–west by 40m, on the south side of the River Camac. Three trenches were mechanically excavated in June 2000, and only deposits and structures of 19th- and 20th-century date were uncovered.
