A pre-development test excavation was conducted on 24 May 1999 before the construction of a domestic dwelling. Seven 1m-wide test-trenches were dug to determine the nature and extent of archaeology, if any. No historical or archaeological structures or artefacts were uncovered. The trenches contained 1m of topsoil before the natural subsoil was encountered.
