All groundworks associated with the construction of a bungalow were monitored, in compliance with a planning condition imposed because the site was close to a small earthwork enclosure.
No archaeological features were noted, but one small sherd of pottery was recovered. This has been identified by Rose M. Cleary as a rimsherd of Beaker period pottery.
